Azad University- The Champion of 9th Asian Clubs
Championships
Tehran Feb 2019—Azad University stood on the first place at the end of the 9th Asian Clubs Championships.
The 9th Asian Clubs Championships was held with the presence of 77 taekwondo athletes of 11 teams in Kish Island – Iran.
At the end of mentioned event, Azad University with the achievement of 5 gold, 2 silver , 1 bronze and 749 points stood on the first place, Shahrdari Varamin with 3 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze and 450 points occupied the second place and Can Club with 4 silver, 1 bronze and 238 points stood on the 3rd place.
The other participating clubs in the 9th Asian Clubs Championships are as follow:
Police & Albasrah from Iraq, Pakistan Green & Pakistan Red from Pakistan, Syrian Club , Syrian Team & Syrian Eagle club from Syria and Challenging Club Academy & Majan Team from Oman.
The mentioned event is G1 and the 1st , 2nd & 3rd medalists are awarded 10.00, 06.00 & 03.60 points in increasing the Olympic points rankings.
